Abstract: У огляді представлено основні ефекти флавоноїду, фітоалексину ресвератролу (Евелору) при різних захворюваннях, у розвитку яких бере участь вільнорадикальне окислення. Наведені основні етапи утворення активних форм кисню, реактивних молекул, первинних та вторинних радикалів, висвітлені механізми перекисного окислення ліпідів, що є основним фактором ураження біологічних мембран. Надано класифікацію природних антиоксидантів й антиоксидантних препаратів та спектр їхньої біологічної дії. Зазначено місце флавоноїдів та, безпосередньо, ресвератролу (Евелору) у системі антиоксидантного захисту. За даними численних наукових досліджень, продемонстровано доцільність широкого клінічного застосування ресвератролу (Евелору) при різних патологічних процесах; В обзоре представлены основные эффекты флавоноида, фитоалексина ресвератрола (Евелору) при различных заболеваниях, в развитии которых участвует свободнорадикальное окисление. Приведены основные этапы образования активных форм кислорода, реактивных молекул, первичных и вторичных радикалов, освещены механизмы перекисного окисления липидов, которое является основным фактором поражения биологических мембран. Представлена классификация природных антиоксидантов и антиоксидантных препаратов, спектр их биологического действия. Указано место флавоноидов и, непосредственно, ресвератрола (Эвелора) в системе антиоксидантной защиты. По данным многочисленных научных исследований продемонстрирована целесообразность широкого клинического применения ресвератрола (Эвелора) при различных патологических процессах; This review presents the main effects of flavonoid phytoalexin resveratrol (Evelor) in various diseases, the development of which involves free-radical oxidation. The main target of free radical oxidation is a biological membrane. Non-esterified fatty acids in the phospholipids of the biological membranes are exposed to the primary and secondary free radicals and reactive molecules. As a result, excess lipid hydroperoxides formed capable act independently on the other fatty acids. The formation of new free radicals is due to reactive fatty acids, and the process becomes cyclical progressive nature. This leads to leaching of the active lipid hydroperoxides of biological membranes, which leads to their structural and functional abnormalities. These and other free radicals and lipid peroxidation products - can damage proteins, organelles, DNA. Reactive hydroxyl anion-radical, hydrogen consuming in organic compounds and forming a highly reactive organic free radical is especially reactive. Lipid peroxidation opposed antioxidant defense system, wherein the enzymes involved - catalysts protective reactions (superoxide dismutase, catalase, glutathione system enzymes, etc.), as well as certain proteins, vitamins and minerals. The activation of free radical oxidation deficiency of antioxidant protection is one of the leading pathogenetic mechanisms of many diseases, as well as a consequence of pathological processes, and damage of various structures, tissues and organs. In this regard, the development and application of drugs with antioxidant activity is an important area of medical science and practice. Currently up preparations antiradical properties - on the basis of synthetic and endogenous compounds, preparations and their antioxidant enzyme activators, blockers of formation of free radicals. A separate group consists of representatives of the new and promising antioxidant polyphenols - flavonoids, which are components of plants, where they perform a lot of regulatory and safety functions. The most well-known representatives of this group are silymarin, curcumin, quercetin. Special attention should resveratrol – phytoalexin produced by some plants in response to pathogens. This substance is also obtained synthetically. In Ukraine, a licensed form of resveratrol is Evelor. Acting on the main elements of the free-radical oxidation, and also thanks to many divergent biological effects of resveratrol (Evelor) has a broad spectrum of therapeutic action. In the experiment, resveratrol helps to significantly extend the life of fruit flies, nematodes, fish, significantly reduces the amount of necrotic myocardium in coronary ligation animals. Data from clinical and experimental studies have demonstrated the ability of resveratrol to prevent restenosis of stented vessels, enhance reparative processes, restore the structural and functional integrity of the, reduce insulin resistance, activate the synthesis of nitric oxide. Marked properties of protection of endothelium by resveratrol (Evelor) are observed in patients with metabolic syndrome. Resveratrol improves visual acuity, has hepatoprotective properties, has a positive effect on the function of the endocrine glands, including normalizes the content of androgens and estrogen stimulates the production of collagen. Resveratrol has chemopreventive effects on various forms of cancer, particularly colorectal. Marked antimicrobial and antiviral activity of resveratrol have also been detected. Resveratrol increases the production of energy compounds, increases the rate of formation of mitochondria and their function, activates cellular respiration. We are studying the effectiveness of Evelor with ischemic heart disease, stable angina, and autoimmune thyroiditis. The results obtained demonstrate lowering of the level of blood cholesterol, lower atherogenic index, anti-inflammatory action. Evelor has regulatory effects on thyroid hormone levels. It was revealed decrease in the rate of blood flow in the thyroid arteries under the influence of Evelor in patients with autoimmune thyroiditis, that indicative of reducing resistance in the arteries of the thyroid gland, reducing the density of the thyroid parenchyma. This is an additional marker of decreased activity of the inflammatory process in the thyroid tissue. Given the above, resveratrol (Evelor) should be actively used, along with basic therapy in cardiology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, nephrology, endocrinology, neurology, ophthalmology, oncology, gynecology, andrology, immunology, in the treatment of infectious diseases, and so on. The foregoing demonstrates the advisability of further study as an effective antioxidant and geroprotector and the need of the active implementation of its in clinical practice.
