The importance of information technology in modern medical educational process

Abstract

The use of innovative technologies in medical education makes it easier to acquire knowledge and share the acquired experience. The current generation of students differs from previous generations. The reason is that this generation grew up on the Internet, the knowledge of everything passes through the use of innovative technologies. Nowadays, three generations of people work in higher educational establishments. They are "Baby Boomers", X generation and Y generation. These generations are responsible, stable, they value development, they are also able to cooperate, they have family values and share life between the online and the real world. Medical education must develop with the use of the latest technology, because future doctors will meet patients in a completely different world in an era of innovative technology. But we should remember that medical education is one of the few educations in the world that cannot be obtained by correspondence.

Використання інноваційних технологій в медичній освіті дозволяють набагато легше здобувати знання та ділитися набутим досвідом. Сучасне покоління здобувачів вищої освіти дуже відрізняється від попередніх поколінь. Це пов’язано з тим, що це покоління виросло в Інтернеті, пізнання всього, що їх оточує, проходить в них через використання інформаційних технологій. Наразі в закладах вищої освіти в професорсько-викладацькому складі працює три покоління людей, це бебі-бумери, покоління «Х» та покоління «Y». Ці покоління відповідають стабільності, цінують розвиток, схильні до співпраці, мають сімейні цінності та розділяють життя між онлайн та реальним світом. Медична освіта повинна розвиватися з використанням найновітніших технологій, тому що майбутні лікарі будуть зустрічатися з пацієнтами в зовсім іншому світі в еру інноваційних технологій. Але не слід забувати, що медична освіта - це одна із небагатьох освіт у світі, яку неможливо отримати заочно.
