Анотація
Згідно з учбовим планом, на кафедрі проходять навчання 2 курс стоматологічного, 2 і 3 курси медичного факультетів. Підготовка студентів на кафедрі включає комплекс традиційних і нетрадиційних методів навчання із залученням сучасних методів навчання із залученням сучасних технологій; Согласно учебному плану, на кафедре проходят обучение 2 курс стоматологического, 2 и 3 курса медицинского факультетов. Training of students at the Department of Topographic Anatomy and Operative Surgery includes a range
of traditional and non-traditional teaching methods using the advanced techniques. The techniques themselves do not guarantee a successful solution of complex tasks of professional training.
A clear system of interconnected components of training is required. This in turn gives the need to introduce
training programs that would take into account the specialization of future medical professionals, enabling a permanent
interdisciplinary approach to their professional education.
To decide these issues a unity of educational, organizational and methodical processes should be gained on wellprepared classroom supplies with implementation of the advanced techniques.
The contents and rationale of the seminars cannot be understood outside the context of the effectiveness of the
training. It includes both the full achievement of educational goals, i. e., formation of the knowledge, abilities, skills and
personal characteristics required for a successful career.
Educational process is provided with methodical literature, published on the Department and used by teachers and
students in practical training, lectures, and during the self-study in extracurricular time. Teachers of the Department
have developed a package of individual assignments for students and interns for each degree separately, that cover
specific topics, the primary purpose and the level of training, considering the final result. Hard copies of published
methodological and academic books in Ukrainian, Russian and English languages, study guides for practical lessons
for interns in dentistry, ophthalmology, obstetrics and gynecology, etc., have been issued.
Teaching aids are of great help in the acquisition of practical skills, knowledge and abilities. They are presented in
two groups: communication (audiovisual) and programmable for training and control.
Students and teachers of the Department shot and edited educational films: “Rhinoplasty” in collaboration with
the Department of Propedeutics of Oral Surgery; «Appendectomy» in collaboration with the Department of Hospital
Surgery; “Giant ventral hernia” and “Appendectomy” in collaboration with the Department of Surgical Diseases of the
Dental Faculty; “A Splenectomy” is surgery on the animal at our Department. Videos are shown during the lectures and
workshops.
During the lectures multimedia presentations are widely used, made by the teachers of the Department, enabling
students to better understand the given material.
Special attention is given to the interns’ experimental work, made on animals with subsequent purely morphological
study of the results of the experiment. This allows interns to improve not only their practical skills in operational techniques,
but also, on the basis of the results, visually verify them at different levels of study (macroscopic, anthropometric,
morphological).
It should be noted that on the Department of Topographic Anatomy and Operative Surgery all necessary conditions
for lectures and practical training for students of medical and dental faculties, as well as the interns of different
specialties, have been provided, contributing to the significant increase of their training level;
