Specifically, the study focuses on assessing the stress levels of Ukrainian military personnel returning from the front using the EPEA method. Conciusions: The EPEA method proved effective in instrumentally detecting increased levels of stress and anxiety in 96% of military personnel, 93% of functionally healthy individuals, and 87% of patients with non communicable diseases in the study. It is of fundamental importance for scientific and systemic medicine to establish that changes in biophoton emission can be observed in patients with non-communicable diseases, including military personnel. Significant differences in total energy levels were found between patients and functionally healthy individuals, with EPEA results showing 41±4.25 J and 43.86±4.87 J respectively for pa tients and functionally healthy people (p<0.0001). In the present study we aimed to evaluate the sensitivity of the Bioelectrical Impedance Method of body composition assessment, and to improve an algorithm in technologies of healthy lifestyles implementation for prevention and control of NCD in the family physician practice. 59 doctors-interns took part in the assessment of the body composition (middle age=24±2 years; 47(79.6 %) were women) on the Body Composition Monitor (HBF-500-E Omron, Japan). 25 % and 19 (33 %) of participants had BMI ≥ 25 kg/m2 and increased level of total body fat. 56 (95 %) doctors-interns had the level of muscles below the age norm. Data analysis showed that young doctors do not lead healthy lifestyles and that the Bioelectrical Impedance Method of body composition assessment is clinically acceptable for early diagnostics. Сьогодні медичній спільноті зрозумілі важливість профілактики та контролю над неінфекційними захворюваннями. В дослідженні нами зроблена спроба визначення чутливості біоімпендансного методу оцінки складу тіла для оптимізації алгоритму запровадження здорового способу життя задля профілактики неінфекційних захворювань в практиці сімейного лікаря. На моніторі складу тіла (HBF-500-E Omron, Японія) обстежено 59 лікарів-інтернів (середній вік (24±2) роки; 47 (79,6 %) – жінки). У 25 % і 19 (33 %) респондентів встановлено збільшення індексу маси тіла ≥25 кг/м2 та вмісту жиру відповідно. У 56 (95 %) – встановлено зниження відсоткового рівня м’язів нижче вікової норми. Це свідчить про те, що молоді лікарі не ведуть здоровий спосіб життя. Біоімпендансний метод оцінки складу тіла клінічно допустимий для ранньої діагностики. Сегодня для медицинской общественности понятны важность профилактики и контроля над неинфекционными болезнями. В работе нами сделана попытка определения чувствительности биоимпендансного метода оценки состава тела для оптимизации алгоритма внедрения здорового способа жизни для профилактики неинфекционных заболеваний в практике семейного врача. На мониторе состава тела (HBF-500-E Omron, Япония) обследовано 59 врачей-интернов (средний возраст (24±2) года; 47 (79,6 %) – женщины). У 25 % и 19 (33 %) респондентов установлено увеличение индекса массы тела ≥25 кг/м2 и содержания жира соответственно. У 56 (95%) – установлено снижение процентного уровня мышц ниже возрастной нормы. Это свидетельствует о том, что молодые врачи не ведут здоровый образ жизни. V.; Співак, Юлія Анатоліївна; Люлька, Надія Олександрівна; Потяженко, Максим Макарович; Вакуленко, Костянтин Євгенійович; Дубровинська, Тетяна ВолодимирівнаThe aim: To investigate the level of B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) and to establish its relationship with structural and functional indicators of the myocardium in patients having acute myocardial infarction (AMI), which is complicated by heart failure (HF) with concomitant type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM2).Materials and methods: The study included 120 patients who were grouped by clinical diagnosis. Every patient underwent transthoracic echocardiography of the heart: left ventricular (LV) ejection fraction (EF), left ventricular myocardial mass index (LVMI), LV relative wall thickness (LVWT), BNP, HbA1c.Results: LV EF was statistically significantly lower in group 2 compared with group 1. A significant difference was found. Significant difference between LVWT within indicators of groups 1 and 2 was found. There was a statistically significant increase of the LVMI in group 2 compared to group 1. Against the background of AMI, the formation of eccentric LVH prevailed in 61% cases. There was a statistically significant increase in BNP within the group of patients suffering of AMI with HF and concomitant DM2.Conclusions: There was found a statistically significant increase in BNP in patients suffering of AMI with HF and concomitant DM2, which indicates a significant degree of damage to cardiomyocytes and causes an aggravating course of HF. The relationship between BNP and LV EF was revealed , which can be used to prognostic the severity of HF in this category of patients. S.; Потяженко, Максим Макарович; Настрога, Тетяна Вікторівна; Соколюк, Ніна Людвігівна; Кітура, Оксана Євгенівна; Моторна, Неля Миколаївна; Корпан, Ангеліна СергіївнаThe aim: The purpose of the study is to increase the efficacy of сomprehensive treatment in elderly patients with COPD , who have suffered of coronavirus disease-COVID-19 in the last 3-6 months, by using nebulizer therapy with N-acetylcysteine and 3% hypertonic sodium chloride solution (Flu-Acyl broncho) and the drug glycine, to correct psychosomatic disorders. Materials and methods: Under our supervision there were 60 elderly patients with COPD gr D, who underwent Covid 19 in the last 3-6 months, were under observation. The average age was 66.3±2.1 years. Рatients of the main and control groups were prescribed complex basic therapy. However, mucolytic therapy was administered to patients in the main group using combined drug - N-acetylcysteine and 3 % hypertonic sodium chloride solution through a 5.0 №10 nebulizer. For the treatment of astheno-neurotic disorders of postcovidal syndrome was prescribed glycine 100 mg 2 times a day for 10 days. Subsequently, Flu-Acyl broncho through a nebulizer at 5.0 No.10, and glycised was used in courses once a day for 10 days per month. Patients in the control group were prescribed acetylcysteine 200 mg 3 times a day N10. Results: The results of observation for 6 months showed that in patients of the main group, recurrence of the disease was not observed. whereas in patients of the control group in 6 patients (20%). EPEA was made on a digital software hardware device Bio-Well 2.0 (Bio-Well 2.0, Russia-USA).Results: Significant differences in AEFE indicators in functionally healthy individuals and patients with NCDs were established. Qualitative indicators of AEFE (indicators of area,intensity, energy of emission) were significantly higher in functionally healthy individuals compared to patients with NCDs. Geometric indicators of AEFE (indicators of length of contours and radii of luminescence) were significantly higher in patients with NCDs than in healthy individuals, which confirmed the visually uneven and more complex contour of luminescence of the fingers in them.Conclusions: AEFE parameters have significant differences in functionally healthy individuals and patients with NCDs. Patients with essential hypertension had significant differences in all physical and mathematical parameters of electro-photonic emission analysis compared to functionally healthy young respondents, which testifies to a different course of metabolic processes in them. The electro-photonic emission analysis method is a modern, hightech,accessible, valid instrumental method for assessing ultra-weak photon emission and indirect research of mitochondrial function, which can provide an opportunity to objectively assess the course of energy processes at the tissue level of metabolism, determine the level of stress, the parameters of the balance of the body's functioning. Patients with FH are predisposed to premature development of atherosclerosis and clinically manifested forms of cardiovascular diseases, in particular coronary heart disease (CHD). The aim of our article is informing the general practitioners about the diagnosis and management of patients with familial heterozygous hypercholesterolemia. Materials and methods: The data of domestic and foreign literature were analyzed. The case report of familial heterozygous hypercholesterolemia (FHH) was present in this article. Diagnostic criteria, current approaches to the management of patients with hereditary disorders of lipid metabolism are considered. Conclusions: Familial heterozygous hypercholesterolemia is one of the most common genetic disorders, but this pathology is not well-known to practitioners and is often underdiagnosed. The aim of the theoretical study was to conceptualize a system of views on the role of internal electromagnetic fields in the human body for understanding the essence of the course of metabolism, the phenomena of biological life and health. General scientific and theoretical methods were used in this theoretical study. The main conclusions of the theoretical study were made as follows: 1. The life of a biological system is a process of magnetoelectric activation of its biomolecules, which starts and ensures their biochemical activity (coherent energy channeling - biochemical soliton flow) and determines structural integrity in their collective interaction of a single organism (transportation of solitons by water-energized structures - controlling soliton flow). 2. Modern deepening of fundamental knowledge to the level of the course of magnetoelectric processes at the molecular level in living biological systems is expedient to be fully integrated into medical science with a change of the electrochemical paradigm of metabolism to a magneto-electrochemical one. 3. The life of a biological system is a process of magneto-electric activation of its biomolecules, which starts and ensures their biochemical activity and determines structural integrity in their collective interaction of a single organism. The aim of the study was to evaluate the interconnections between local Schumann resonances of the Earth’s magnetic field and episodes of kidney disease. Materials and Methods: Study participants included 716 males and 624 females who had episodes of kidney disease during the period of 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2021 and attended the Department of Nephrology at the Hospital of Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, Kauno klinikos. Time varying magnetic field data was collected at the magnetometer site located in Lithuania. Results and Conclusions: The study results support the hypothesis that the Earth’s magnetic field has a relationship between the number of nephrology patient hospitalizations per week and the average weekly local Schumann resonances strength in different frequency ranges. Working hypotheses are proposed for the mechanisms of the influence of the Earth’s electromagnetic field on kidney function: а) quantum mechanical features of the atomic composition of renal tissue molecules determine a kidney-specific reaction; b) cyclotron resonance mechanism; c) resonant response of cells of morphological structures of kidney tissue to external bioactive frequencies in the range of 6-8 Hz; d) mechanism of indirect influence of blood as a magnetically saturated medium. Анотація. Метою дослідження було оцінити взаємозв’язок між місцевим резонансом Шумана поля Землі та епізодами захворювань нирок. Матеріали та методи: дослідження включали 716 чоловіків і 624 жінки, які мали епізоди захворювання нирок під час період з 01.01.2021 по 31.12.2021 та відвідував відділення нефрології у лікарні Литовського університету наук про здоров’я, Кауно клінікос. Час змінюється дані магнітного поля були зібрані на майданчику магнітометра, розташованому в Литві. Результати і Висновки: результати дослідження підтверджують гіпотезу про те, що магнітне поле Землі має a)співвідношення між кількістю госпіталізацій нефрологічних пацієнтів на тиждень і середнім тижнева сила локальних резонансів Шумана в різних діапазонах частот.
