Анотація
У статті вирішується проблема розвитку монологічного мовлення при вивченні української мови як іноземної у медичному виші на початковому етапі. Автор доводить, що комунікативний принцип є головним у навчанні мови і що навчати треба саме мові, а не правилам про мову. Тому завдання викладача – дати майбутнім лікарям основи української мови, тобто з’ясувати головні правила функціонування мови, яка є чужою для студента. Викладач повинен навчити не тільки мінімальному лексичному запасу та правилам читання та письма, а й основним принципам складання слів у словосполучення, фрази, особливостям зв’язку слів у реченнях.
The article deals with the problem of the development of monologue speech when studying the Ukrainian language as a foreign language in a medical university at the initial stage. The author proves that the communicative principle is the main one in language teaching and that it is necessary to teach the language, and not the rules about the language. Therefore, the teacher's task is to give future doctors the basics of the Ukrainian language, that is, to find out the main rules of functioning of a language that is foreign to the student. The teacher must teach not only the minimum vocabulary and rules of reading and writing, but also the basic principles of putting words into phrases, phrases, and the features of connecting words in sentences.
