The epithelium of hard palate of the human has precise zone features, which caused by functional load. The attributes of keratinization are determined in sutural and regional zones. The least thickness of an epithelial layer in sutural zone, greatest - in fatty. Connective tissue’s papillas penetrate from 1/3 up to 2/3 thiknessof an epithelial layer.
