Specialized vocabulary covers the most important phenomena and processes within a particular dental career, such as names of diseases, diagnostic and treatment methods, tools, devices, procedures and so on. The study of lexical and semantic features in the terminology of endodontics enabled us to reveal the internal linguistic laws of term formation in the contemporary English as a lingua franca in global research and international cooperation.
