A relationship between the morphometry of water bodies and the dominant macrophyte ecological group was established. It was determined that both insufficiently overgrown and excessively overgrown reservoirs for various reasons have limited recreational suitability for the population, that must be taken into account when developing measures for hydro-ecological management of urban areas.ukurbanized areaswater bodiesrecreationmacrophytesovergrowthphytomonitoringArticle
