Хронотоп як літературознавча категорія: генеза, еволюція, дискурс

Abstract

У статті досліджується поняття «хронотоп» як літературознавча категорія: генеза, еволюція та дискурс. Мета даної статті ― окреслити літературознавчі межі даного поняття та осмислити сучасні концепції, що стосуються взаємозв’язку часу і простору у структурі художнього твору. Розглянуто точки зору на означене поняття провідних літературознавців доби, окреслено домінантні риси у працях кожного із дослідників та виведено власне визначення хронотопу. Особлива увага відводиться окресленню взаємозв’язку часу і простору у тексті та їх взаємозалежності. Наведено огляд різних концепцій хронотопу в літературному творі. Проаналізовано типи часу і простору у взаємозв’язку з наративними особливостями. Художній час та простір є невід'ємною складовою літературного твору, які надають йому внутрішню єдність і завершеність, та стають значним виразником індивідуального стилю автора. У статті виводиться авторське поняття даної категорії та окреслюються його функції у тексті; The article deals with the concept of «chronotope» as a literary category: genesis, evolution anddiscourse. Chronotope is one of the most promising concepts in modern humanities.The concept becamefamous due to the works of theoutstandingphilosopher M. Bakhtin. Chronotope is one of the main charac­teristics of literary texts. There is a close connection of time and space relations in fiction. The aim of thisstudy is to define the literary limits of this concept and to analyze contemporary theories about the relati­onship between time and space in the structure of the literary work. The main ideas of the leading literarycritics on the chronotope are highlighted. The theories of Yu. Lotman, D. Lykhachov, E. Hall, V. Khalyzev,T. Kushnirova and many others are discussed and own definition of the chronotope is determined.A great attention is paid to the relationship between time and space in the text and their interde­pendence. Through the system of time­space relations, the authorʹs worldview is defined as a representativeof a certain epoch. These categories are important characteristics of the artistic image, the basic coordinatesof the artistic world, providing a holistic perception of artistic reality. The review of different concepts ofthe chronotope in the literary work is made. The types of time and space in relation with narrative peculia­rities are analyzed. Time and space are an integral part of the literary work, which give it internal unity andcompleteness, and become a significant expression of the individual style of the author. The authorʹs conceptof this category is deduced and its functions in the text are revealed.
