Доцільність підготовки кваліфікованих перекладачів в Україні в епоху євроінтеграції

Abstract

В поданій статті висвітлені актуальні проблеми підготовки перекладачів синхронного перекладу в Україні та підкреслена важливість цієї професії в процесі євроінтеграції. Коротко розглянуто історію становлення перекладацької діяльності в Україні та перспективи її розвитку. Як свідчить довідникова література, переклад – відтворення оригіналу усного або письмового повідомлення (у широкому значенні цього слова) засобами іншої мови зі збереженням єдності змісту та форми. Перекладач (у широкому розумінні) – проміжна ланка в комунікації, необхідність в якій виникає у випадках, коли коди, якими користуються джерело й адресат не збігаються; у вузькому значенні – людина, яка професійно займається перекладом [3]. Потреба в послугах професійних перекладачів в Україні останнім часом стабільно зростає, гостро постає питання конкурентоспроможності фахівців цього профілю, прогнозується подальше збільшення попиту на їх послуги на 20% за рік. Такий підвищений попит з боку підприємців на дипломованих фахівців-перекладачів показує наскільки зріс в суспільстві рівень розуміння того, що в перекладі необхідний професіоналізм, що переклад - це складний процес міжмовного посередництва, що вимагає солідної професійної підготовки. В Україні не вистачає теоретичних і методичних розробок у галузі професійної підготовки синхронних перекладачів, що привело до появи суттєвих недоліків у цій системі, а саме – недостатнього рівня професійної компетентності вихідного продукту ВНЗ (виробника), ускладнення процесу їх професійної адаптації на робочому місці, відсутності у випускників ВНЗ прагнення до професійного вдосконалення та самоосвіти тощо. Тому нині актуалізується потреба у переході до компетентнісно-орієнтованого навчання, що спрямоване на підготовку висококваліфікованих фахівців, які можуть орієнтуватись у сучасному суспільстві, інформаційному просторі, бути конкурентоздатними та мобільними на ринку праці.

The article highlights the current problems of training simultaneous translation translators in Ukraine and emphasizes the importance of this profession in the process of European integration. The history of translation activity in Ukraine and the prospects for its development are briefly considered. According to reference literature, translation is the reproduction of the original oral or written message (in the broadest sense of the word) by means of another language while preserving the unity of content and form. An interpreter (in the broadest sense) is an intermediate link in communication, the need for which arises in cases when the codes used by the source and the addressee do not match; in the narrow sense - a person who professionally deals with translation [3]. The need for the services of professional translators in Ukraine has been steadily growing recently, the question of the competitiveness of professionals of this profile is acute, and a further increase in demand for their services by 20% per year is predicted. Such an increased demand from entrepreneurs for certified translation specialists shows how much the level of understanding has grown in society that translation requires professionalism, that translation is a complex process of interlingual mediation that requires solid professional training. In Ukraine, there is a lack of theoretical and methodological developments in the field of professional training of simultaneous translators, which has led to the appearance of significant shortcomings in this system, namely, the insufficient level of professional competence of the initial product of the university (producer), the complication of the process of their professional adaptation at the workplace, the absence of university graduates' desire for professional improvement and self-education, etc. Therefore, the need for a transition to competence-oriented training aimed at training highly qualified specialists who can navigate in modern society, the information space, be competitive and mobile in the labor market is becoming more urgent.
