Abstract: The introduction of martial law in Ukraine on February 24, 2022 in connection with full-scale armed aggression caused significant challenges for the higher education system. Higher educational institutions in Ukraine were forced to switch to distance education. The situation of education seekers from foreign countries has become an acute problem in connection with the state of war in Ukraine. Students of foreign origin were forced to leave Ukraine for their own safety. Of course, there was no question of suspending studies. Higher educational institutions, in particular the Poltava State Medical University, switched to distance learning with all students, including foreign students. Modern challenges require quick solutions. It was the use of mobile technologies that came in handy in the educational process in this situation.
