    The article is devoted to the analysis of modern approaches to the study of aspects of the professional image of a teacher and possible options for its improvement in higher education institutions. It is determined that the pedagogical image cannot be set once and for all; it needs to be created and based on constant work on oneself. It begins with a motive and continues with the search and use of knowledge, activity and correction of one's image, and evaluation of work results. The article analyses the approaches of domestic and foreign scientists' approaches to studying the components of the teacher's image. Image is the result of conscious work. It is especially true when it is part of professional success. The personal image of a teacher is an important complement or a prerequisite for his or her effective work. Creating a professional image also arises from the needs of the market economy. The main components of the professional image of a teacher are substantiated and defined. It is confirmed that a positive professional image of a teacher is characterised by an individual style and success, combining the formation of internal personal and professional characteristics and their external manifestations in the performance of work functions. The critical components of improving the image are formed, including the professional skills of the teacher, his/ her ethical academic behaviour and communication skills. The formation of the pedagogical image goes through 5 stages: it begins with the perception of the image; continues with the analysis of information and its mental correction; use, which is revealed through trying on and playing certain elements of the desired image and further getting into the image; and ends with the appropriation and individualisation of the chosen or desired image. It is the mechanism of forming a pedagogical image.

    Вступ. З огляду на триваючу війну в Україні, існує потреба в інноваційних рішеннях щодо забезпечення доступу студентів до якісної освіти. У цій статті проаналізовано переваги застосування системи управління навчанням (СУН) в медичному університеті в Україні. Метою роботи було оцінити результати впровадження освітньої платформи в освітній процес ІІ освітнього рівня (магістр) спеціальності 221 Стоматологія на прикладі освітнього компоненту «Пропедевтика внутрішньої медицини». Матеріали та методи. Використовуючи платформу Moodle, було розроблено навчальний курс «Вступ до внутрішньої медицини» для студентів-стоматологів. У дослідженнях взяли участь з 54 студенти 2 курсу та 77 студентів 3 курсу. Проаналізовано успішність студентів протягом 2021-22 та 2022-23 навчальних років. Проведено опитування на основі анкет для оцінки задоволеності студентів якістю навчання. Результати. Виявлено, що бали за підсумкову модульну оцінку у 2022-23 навчальному році значно зросли. Анкетне опитування показало, що більшість студентів мають гарні знання предмету, задоволені формами й методами навчання та вважають, що мають достатньо інформації та підтримки для досягнення очікуваних результатів навчання. Використання СУН, зокрема платформи Moodle, допомогло контролювати негативний вплив війни на освіту. Впровадження новації у навчання забезпечило високу якість навчання, покращило успішність і дозволило точніше оцінювати знання студентів. Висновки. Використання освітньої платформи в освітньому процесі дало змогу підтримувати високий рівень якості освіти в умовах війни та пандемії, показало покращення успішності студентів, дозволило проводити більш точне та незалежне оцінювання знань здобувачів освіти. Introduction. Given the ongoing war in Ukraine, innovative solutions are needed to ensure students’ access to quality education. This paper explores the benefits of applying a Learning Management System (LMS) at a medical university in Ukraine. The aim of the study was to evaluate the results of the implementation of the educational platform in the educational process of the second educational level (master's degree) in the specialty 221 Dentistry on the example of the educational component «Propedeutics of Internal Medicine». Materials and methods. Using Moodle, we developed a training course for an Introduction to Internal Medicine for dental students. The student population consisted of 54 2nd-year students and 77 3rd-year students. The student academic performance during the academic years 2021-22 and 2022-23 was analysed statistically. We also conducted a questionnaire-based survey to assess student satisfaction. Results. The study found that the end-of-module assessment scores in the 2nd year of study significantly increased in the 2022-23 academic year. A questionnaire survey found that most students were familiar with the subject, were satisfied with the forms and methods of teaching and considered that they had sufficient information and support to achieve the expected learning utcomes. Discussion. The use of the LMS helped control the negative impact of the war on education. The introduction of the LMS into the dentistry curriculum has ensured the quality of education, improved academic performance, and allowed for a more accurate assessment of student knowledge.
