    Data on the prevalence of psychopathological disorders in exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) are very heterogeneous. COPD and depression have common favorable factors. The effectiveness and favorable safety profile of the drug should be taken into account when choosing an antidepressant to treat depressive disorders in women with severe COPD. Objective: to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the impact of paroxetine on the level of depressive disorders in exacerbation of severe COPD in women.
