A look at modern achievements and prospects for the development of higher medical education through the prism of bioethics(Полтавський державний медичний університет, 2022) Panasenko, S. I.; Kerbazh, N. R.; Panasenko, T. V.; Drabovskiy, V. S.; Панасенко, Сергій Іванович; Кербаж, Нізар Ріда; Панасенко, Т. The rapid progress of biomedical sciences and medical technologies in recent decades and their application in medical practice have posed new ethical dilemmas to higher medical schools and society. The number of articles in mass and professional journals testifies to the topic’s importance and the concern of higher medical school teachers. The central role of ethics in medical practice cannot be overestimated. Medicine implies specific fundamental values, such as saving lives and alleviating suffering. These values distinguish medicine from other sciences and involve some special responsibilities, particularly for doctors and other members of the medical profession and especially for those seeking medical education. The work aimed to study the achievements and prospects for the development of higher medical education from the standpoint of bioethics based on an analytical review of scientific sources of information. The concept proposed by the famous American philosophers Tom Beechamp and James Childress, covered in the work «Principles of Biomedical Ethics», has received the most comprehensive recognition. The authors put forward four basic, fundamental principles of biomedical ethics: autonomy, the desire not to harm, work for the patient’s benefit, and justice. Conclusions: 1. Higher Medical School of Ukraine, despite the constant dynamic changes in the structure of science and education, remains at the appropriate level, but the state of the modern health care system forces doctors to work with a constantly increasing ethical issues number and its nature. 2. Teachers of higher medical and educational establishments must continuously monitor changes in the medical and ethical orientation of the health care system as a whole. 3. With the correct and proper provision of medical education to the student on the principles of medical and biological ethics continuously throughout the training period, great success can be achieved in stabilizing the psycho-emotional population state and representing Ukraine’s global interests to the world communityДокумент Anatomical basis of biomechanical properties of super ficialtissues of the anterior abdominal wall(Українська медична стоматологічна академія, 2020-12) Drabovskiy, V. The unique mechanical properties of the skin provide the function of support and protection of internal organs through the skin mobility and elasticity. This feature of the skin is determined by its microstructural organization and arrangement of connective tissue fibres. The mechanical properties of the skin are mainly determined by the collagen-rich dermis. The mechanics of the dermis, in turn, depends on the structure, density and direction of collagen fibres. Each biological tissue is able to acquire deformation properties i.e. stretching or contraction. At each stage of deformation in the tissues of different topographic and anatomical areas there are changes in histoarchitectonics (within the plastic characteristics, and outside these parameters). Different structural interactions are expressed by different mechanical factors, which are adequate to the magnitude and direction of tensile forces (deformation vectors), form the typical features of the connective tissue matrix of abdominal wall tissues. Normalization of the direction of tissue stress vectors, uniform distribution of the direction and force of deformation prevent microstructural rearrangement of the surface tissues of the abdominal wall. Dynamic changes in the histological structure and biomechanical behaviour of the skin are closely related to the aging process, hormonal background, mechanical factors: physiological stretching of the skin during rapid growth in adolescence, pregnancy, overweight (or rapid weight loss), under the influence of physical load and wound healing. All these factors lead to connective tissue remodelling. Thus, the skin has a complex three-dimensional morphological structure; it is subjected to prolonged exposure to internal and external factors that determines its mechanical properties. The role of modern information technologies at the surgical profile departments training process(Астрая, 2020-11) Drabovskiy, V. V.; Драбовський, Віталій Сергійович; Панасенко, Сергій Іванович; Кербаж, Нізар Ріда; Безручко, Максим ВасильовичOne of the priority tasks of digitalization of the higher education system, including medical one, is the onstant improvement of the quality of future specialists` training on the basis of the use of computer technologies in the educational process (telemedicine). In the conditions of COVID-19, the digitalization of higher educational institution activity should provide a basis of uniform information and educational space for carrying out educational activity on the basis of modern advanced information technologies. At present, the introduction of such a form for the education of future doctors remains debatable. Physician training requires traditional face-to-face contact, but all theoretical training and decision-making activities can take place distantly, both for full-time and part-time forms of education. The article compares the most effective computer platforms that are available for use in distance learning at the departments of surgery;
