In this article I present several observations regarding the development of the Romanian teaching classes for foreign students (mostly Arabic natives) registered in the preparatory academic year of Romanian language, at Dimitrie Cantemir Christian University from Bucharest, 2020/2021.1 noticed multiple phonetic, morphological, semantic errors, whose frequency required the search for more efficient learning methods of those concepts. As a general rule, the writing and spelling errors were determined by the main phonetic differences between the Romanian language and the foreign students' native language. At morphological level the major difficulties were the assimilation ofpronominal forms.
