However, the selection of optimal IF protocols remains controversial, with limited comparative effectiveness data available. This study analyzes 11 randomized controlled trials investigating four intermittent fasting (IF) protocols: 5:2 diet (n=3 studies), alternate-day fasting (ADF; n=4), modified ADF (MADF; n=2), and time-restricted eating (TRE; n=2). Improved lipid metabolism, increased insulin sensitivity, and decreased inflammation—all important components of cardiovascular health—have been associated with intermittent fasting (IF), which alternates between periods of fasting and eating. Material and methods: Strains of bacteria were isolated from well water by bacteriological methods on meat peptone agar and sugar meat peptone agar. Morphological and tinctorial properties were investigated by staining of smears by the Gram method. The biochemical activity was determined on differential media. Susceptibility to antibiotics was determined by the disc diffusion method.
