    Analysis of the socio-demographic characteristics of krakow singles participating in the research

    Presented subject matter is an analysis of the socio-demographic characteristics of the respondents participating in large studies on the functioning of contemporary singles in Krakow. Over six hundred people were tested in April 2021 by means of the diagnostic survey method as well as the CAWI online survey technique. The article presents the silhouette of a contemporary single from Krakow as well as its surroundings. It is remarkable for the reason that several commonly repeated assumptions concerning the functioning of singles can be observed, treating singles as sophisticated, conscious, assertive, decent earners as well as highly educated people.

    Push and puli factors determining the decision to leave Poland- based on students' opinions The aim of this article is to present the push and puli factors based on the opinion of young people from Poland. The article is established on the analysis of empirical research which the author of this text is a co-editor and was carried out among students aged 19-25 years from 28th December 2020 to lOth January 2021 through the Internet opportunities - CAWI method among 811 respondents. The ąuestions were asked regarding the factors pushing out fromPoland, i.e. migration policy in Poland, the possibility of implementing own economic strategies in Poland. Further, the ąuestions were asked with reference to indirect factors, i.e. the significance of family and relatives during migration processes and puli factors ofPoland, i.e. the implications ofleaving the country.
