    Background. Acute intestinal infections (OII) are among the most common infectious diseases. Rotaviruses, Shigella, and Salmonella are the main etiological factors of mortality from OII worldwide.

    It is shown that prevalence of parenteral viral hepatitis can not be estimate only on the basis of incidence the sharp forms of hepatitis B and C. Taking into account the mainly occult of epidemic process of parenteral viral hepatitis in modern terms, all of greater is acquired results of specific laboratory testing of healthy population and risk groups of infecting. For determinationlevel of prevalence parenteral viral hepatitis in regions it is necessary to conduct by the incidence, exposure of markers of infecting among the groups of population, taking into account information about coverage of testing.
