Проблема выбора современных хирургических шовных материалов

Abstract

The choise of suture material in surgery is often individual and a result of personal experience. But the use of some absorbable and nonabsorbable surgical threads result in persistent cellular reactions and chronic inflammatory responces and can conseguently disturb different physiologic functions. The review adduces new data about influence of suture materials on the morfological and metabolic changes in sutured tissues. The use of the surgical threads regard for their effects on organism allows to prevent different postoperative complications.
