The formation and development of biotechnological research in plant breeding in Ukraine

Abstract

У статті представлено три головні напрями сучасної біотехнології рослин, а також основні етапи її розвитку в Україні відповідно до найважливіших біотехнологічних досліджень у світі. Показано, що українські вчені приймали активну участь у становленні напрямів і методів біотехнології рослин в Секторі генетики, Інституті ботаніки та Інституті фізіології рослин АН УРСР. ;In the article three main directions of modern biotechnology of plants, and also basic stages of its development, in Ukraine in accordance with major biotechnological researches in the world are presented. It is rotined that the Ukrainian scientists accepted active voice in becoming of directions and methods of biotechnology of plants in the Sector of genetics, Institute of botany and Institute of phytophysiology of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR.
