Abstract

Given the ileum's important role in secreting intestinal juice, membrane digestion, and absorption of digested substances into the blood and lymph, the study of its morphological and functional changes under the influence of various exogenous factors, including chemical food additives widely used in the food industry, is of great interest to both scientists and healthcare professionals.
