Тестування як форма контролю знань здобувачів вищої освіти

Abstract

Традиційна система контролю знань студентів орієнтована в цілому на виявлення здатності утримувати в пам’яті знання і відтворювати їх на вимогу викладача. Так, перевіркою встановлюється лише те, про що запитує педагог. Це породжує формалізм і суб’єктивізм у оцінці підготовленості здобувачів освіти. Мабуть, найактуальніша на сьогодні проблема - об’єктивізація і стандартизація контролю в освіті. Традиційні форми і методи контролю гостро критикують, і починає складатися інша система діагностики рівня сформованості знань та вмінь студентів - комп’ютерне тестування.The traditional system of students’ knowledge control is generally focused on identifying the ability to retain the material and reproduce it at the teacher’s request. Hence, only the material, asked by the teacher, can be checked. This gives rise to formalism and subjectivity in evaluating the readiness of the trainees. Perhaps the most pressing problem today is the objectification and standardization of control in education. Traditional forms and methods of control are severely criticized, and another system of diagnosing the students' level of knowledge and skills is emerging - the computer-based testing.
