The craniofacial system is closely connected to the cervical spine forming a functional craniocervical structure that is part of the human postural system. To study the relationship between head position, cervical spine, in patients with different types of malocclusion. CBCT scans of the facial skeleton were performed on 99 patients, along with cephalometric measurements characterizing dentofacial anomalies, head position, cervical spine. A reliable difference in the CVA angle was found between patients with Class I and Class II (p=0.035), a difference in the SN-OPT angle between Class II and Class III patients (p=0.048), and a difference in the SN-VR angle between Class I and Class III patients (p=0.005), as well as between Class II and Class III patients (p<0.001). Significant relationships were established between head position, cervical spine in patients with malocclusion. Skeletal Class II is characterized by a backward head tilt, while Class III is associated with a forward and downward head tilt.
