Metacognitive aspects in learning romanian as a foreign language

Abstract

The Romanian language acquisition by foreign students often takes place in poor learning contexts, where students do not know how to learn, how to acquire the grammar rules, how to apply them, why to apply them where needed. The students equipped with metacognitive skills, meaning those who know how to learn and who can control and become consciousof their own learning activity, are more effective and faster at learning the Romanian language.
