To make a preliminary diagnosis, it is advisable to use different methods of imaging, such as: ultrasound, MRI, radiography. Radiological diagnosis of soft tissue tumors should be based on the integrated use of radiological and ultrasound methods with mandatory consideration of clinical and anamnestic data such as patient age, topographic location of the tumor and its growth rate. Although ultrasound and MRI do not allow to completely differentiate the tumor, but they help to choose the right tactics of the patient. Materials and Methods: The material for analysis was the results of a survey of students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Physical Culture of Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A. S. Makarenko held during 2020-2023. Students of the 1st-4th courses of the 017 «Physical Culture and Sports» and 227 «Therapy and Rehabilitation» specialties took part in the comparative cross-sectional study. The experiment consisted of two stages. 412 students took part in the first stage and 395 students took part in the second. The first stage of the survey was conducted before starting the study of disciplines, the subject of research of which is directly or indirectly related to health, and the second was conducted after the completion of the study of these disciplines. Research methods: theoretical, empirical, methods of statistical data processing. Results: The results of the study indicate the presence of significant interest of students in the problem of health and a healthy lifestyle. If before the start of the experiment the number of students who were interested in health problems was 55.09%, then after the experiment their number increased to 78.48% (p<0.01). Materials and Methods: The program of the local pedagogical experiment was implemented through the realization of ascertaining (2022–2023) and formative (2023–2024) stages. Pedagogical experiment involved students in the specialty 227 Therapy and Rehabilitation, field of knowledge 22 Health care of the Poltava State Medical University (Ukraine). Results: The analysis of the results of the formative experiment, during which students studied according to the implementation program in the system of professional training in a medical institution of higher education under specified didactic conditions, shows positive changes in the levels of readiness of future occupational therapists to use modern rehabilitation technologies in professional activities. Materials and Methods: 264 students of the 1st-2nd years of the specialties: «Physical therapy, occupational therapy», «Technologies of medical diagnosis and treatment», specialty «Secondary education. Physical culture» and «Physical culture and sport. Sport» took part in the study. They attended physical education classes and extracurricular functional training classes during 2020-2022 in three stages: theoretical and diagnostic stage; analytical and research stage; experimental and generalizing stage. Students were from the Educational and Scientific Institute of Physical Education and Sports of the State Institution «Luhansk National University named after Taras Shevchenko», the Communal Institution «Kharkiv Humanitarian and Pedagogical Academy» of the Kharkiv Regional Council. Research methods: theoretical, empirical, methods of statistical data processing. Results: The survey of the tested contingent showed that 60% of respondents want to increase muscle mass, increase strength – 30%, correct the figure – 10%. Among the forms of classes, 46% tudents consider independent classes to be the best, physical education classes – 40%, personal and group classes – 14%. Conclusions: An experimental method of physical improvement of students of higher education institutions using functional training exercises has been developed. Materials and Methods: To solve the tasks and achieve the goal of the article, we used general scientific methods of the theoretical level (analysis, synthesis, comparison, systematization, generalization of scientific and theoretical data), peculiarities of formation of readiness of future specialists in physical rehabilitation to use health-preserving technologies in their professional activity.Conclusions: The model of the readiness of future physical rehabilitation specialists to use health-preserving technologies in professional activities should contribute to the actualization of purposefulness in education, the formation of an active professional position and professional motivation; secondly, the model should contribute to increasing the level of professional readiness, which will improve the process of physical rehabilitation of clients. Patients were involved in the study after receiving secondary (specialized) medical care, the basis of which was physical therapy treatment and exercise therapy in accordance with the clinical protocol approved by the internal order of the health care institution. A total of 30 people (aged 59 to 68.4 years) with II degree chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (50 % ≤ FEV1 < 80 % of normal) in remission took part in the study. Research methods: pedagogical, medical and biological , methods of mathematical statistics. Results: Each patient confirmed the achievement of the general goal, namely, increasing the number of therapeutic exercises from 3 to 5 times a week, improving the quality of life, more active participation in improving their health and awareness of the disease. The patients considered self-management training to be the most valuable Conclusions: Pulmonary rehabilitation is indicated for all patients, regardless of the degree of the disease. Materials and Methods: The experimental work was carried out in the period from 2017-2022 and covered three stages that determined the program of the pedagogical experiment. 204 students were involved in the experiment to check the effectiveness of pedagogical conditions (EG passed 103 students, CG – 101). Experimental research was carried out on the basis of higher education institutions of Ukraine: Khmelnytskyi National University, H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University, Kamianets-Podilsky Ivan Ohienko National University. Research methods: analysis of scientific and methodical literature; pedagogical observation; pedagogical experiment; pedagogical testing; methods of mathematical statistics. Results: During the comprehensive diagnostic testing during the formative stage of the experiment, the majority of EG students demonstrated a high and medium level of readiness to work with water sports students (high – 30.10 %, average – 51.46 %), and only 18.44 % of EG students revealed a low level of readiness. At the same time, a slightly different indicator was recorded in CG: high level – 10.89 %, average – 38.61 %, low – 50.50 %. Materials and Methods: The pedagogical experiment lasted during 2019-2021 in Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko. The pedagogical research was attended by 128 first- and second-year students majoring in «Physical Education», «Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy» Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko. The research methods were as follows: analysis of special and scientific literature, pedagogical observation, pedagogical experiment, pedagogical testing, methods of statistical data processing. Results: In order to organize and systematize this theoretical and practical experience, we have developed a preventive model of forming health-save competence of students, which allows to form an idea of the determinants of health, ways to strengthen it, guide students to follow the rules of healthy living and application of a wide range of natural physiotherapeutic means. Materials and Methods: As a part of the research the complex assessment of somatic health status of people who suffered from COVID-19 was made using tests (Ruffier-Dickson Index, Stange and Gencha tests, Harvard step test, absolute and relative PWC 170). Results: The health and fitness program «Fitness Energy» is developed, implemented and experimentally verified as a complex of selective breathing and aerobic exercises which are done in a particular order and allow acting deliberately on human body of people who suffered from COVID-19 to secure the maximum health-improvement effect. Conclusions: Experimental research confirmed the effectiveness of health and fitness program «Fitness Energy», in particular the overall result upon indications of functional status of people in experimental group (25,78 %) 17,5 % higher than in control one (8,22 %). Materials and Methods: The pedagogical experiment lasted during 2020-2022 in Poltava region. The study involved 50 people who were divided into 2 groups: EG (25 people), CG (25 people), including representatives of different ages from 12 to 72 years, all of them complained of physical fatigue, lack of mood, apathy, emotional imbalance – irritability, lack of self-regulation during the experience of traumatic situations. The research methods were as follows: analysis of special and scientific literature, pedagogical observation, pedagogical experiment, pedagogical testing, methods of statistical data processing. Results: The results of our research indicate the effectiveness of the method of psychological relief of patients who complained of physical, psychological overload, lack of mood, apathy, emotional imbalance – irritability, aggression towards others, uncontrolled experiences of traumatic situations. Materials and Methods: The research was conducted during the 2022-2023 academic year on the basis of the «Kharkiv Humanitarian and Pedagogical Academy» a communal institution of the Kharkiv Regional Counci, Poltava State Medical University and Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. 120 students of the specialty 227 «Therapy and Rehabilitation» and 017 «Physical Culture and Sports» were involved in the pedagogical experiment. Research methods: analysis of scientific and methodical literature; pedagogical observation; pedagogical experiment; pedagogical testing; methods of mathematical statistics. Results: The technology of performing practical competence-oriented tasks and the system of its evaluation, which provided for the diagnosis of the activity component of competence, were substantiated. Test tasks for diagnosing the cognitive component of competence and a special method of processing the results have been developed, which ensures the integration of relevant indicators of individual components of competence into the final generalized result. Conclusions: The diagnostics of the development levels of the formation of the health-preserving components of multidimensional data processing competence among future specialists, the statistical processing of the obtained data at all stages of experimental work, made it possible to make a statistically reliable conclusion about the positive impact.
