Assessment of the stress and metabolism levels by using electro-photonic emission analysis method in ukrainian military personnel after frontline service

This study aims to explore the potential of the Electrophotonic Emission Analysis (EPEA) method as an instrumental approach for studying stress in biomedical research. Specifically, the study focuses on assessing the stress levels of Ukrainian military personnel returning from the front using the EPEA method. Conciusions: The EPEA method proved effective in instrumentally detecting increased levels of stress and anxiety in 96% of military personnel, 93% of functionally healthy individuals, and 87% of patients with non communicable diseases in the study. It is of fundamental importance for scientific and systemic medicine to establish that changes in biophoton emission can be observed in patients with non-communicable diseases, including military personnel. Significant differences in total energy levels were found between patients and functionally healthy individuals, with EPEA results showing 41±4.25 J and 43.86±4.87 J respectively for pa tients and functionally healthy people (p<0.0001). Electro-photonic emission analysis is a promising, valid, accessible instrumental method for biomedical research.
Efficient comprehensive treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease exacerbation and postcovidal syndrome in elderly patients

The aim: The purpose of the study is to increase the efficacy of сomprehensive treatment in elderly patients with COPD , who have suffered of coronavirus disease-COVID-19 in the last 3-6 months, by using nebulizer therapy with N-acetylcysteine and 3% hypertonic sodium chloride solution (Flu-Acyl broncho) and the drug glycine, to correct psychosomatic disorders. Materials and methods: Under our supervision there were 60 elderly patients with COPD gr D, who underwent Covid 19 in the last 3-6 months, were under observation. The average age was 66.3±2.1 years. Рatients of the main and control groups were prescribed complex basic therapy. However, mucolytic therapy was administered to patients in the main group using combined drug - N-acetylcysteine and 3 % hypertonic sodium chloride solution through a 5.0 №10 nebulizer. For the treatment of astheno-neurotic disorders of postcovidal syndrome was prescribed glycine 100 mg 2 times a day for 10 days. Subsequently, Flu-Acyl broncho through a nebulizer at 5.0 No.10, and glycised was used in courses once a day for 10 days per month. Patients in the control group were prescribed acetylcysteine 200 mg 3 times a day N10. Results: The results of observation for 6 months showed that in patients of the main group, recurrence of the disease was not observed. whereas in patients of the control group in 6 patients (20%). Conclusions: Comprehensive treatment of elderly patients with comorbid pathology - COPD group D and postcovidal syndrome, with the additional use of nebulizer delivery of the combined drug - N-acetylcysteine and 3% hypertonic sodium chloride solution in combination with the sedative drug glycine, promotes improving the quality of life in patients, reducing the duration of treatment, prevents recurrence and progression of COPD.

21 polymorbid patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and 85 functionally healthy respondents were obtained by the method of electro-photonic emission analysis. It was found that patients with noncommunicable diseases with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease had significant differences in качественных physical and mathematical parameters of electro-photonic emission analysis, which characterize the shape of the glow compared to functionally healthy young respondents. This testifies to a different course of metabolic processes in them. As the scientific search for adequate and technically simple techniques for use in clinical settings continues, the electro-photonic emission analysis method deserves close attention as a promising candidate for scientific research into the integral level of cellular metabolism/mitochondrial activity. Many questions about the mechanisms of biophotonic communication remain unanswered, so biophotonics of the human body is an important and promising direction for internal medicine and science in general. Методом аналізу електрофотонної емісії було обстежено 21 поліморбідного хворого на хронічну обструктивну хворобу легень та 85 функціонально здорових респондентів. Встановлено, що у хворих на неінфекційні захворювання: хронічну обструктивну хворобу легень спостерігаються суттєві відмінності в якісних фізико-математичних параметрах аналізу електрофотонного випромінювання, які характеризують форму світіння порівняно з функціонально здоровими молодими респондентами. Це свідчить про інший перебіг у них метаболічних процесів. Оскільки науковий пошук адекватних і технічно простих методів для використання в клінічних умовах триває, метод аналізу електрофотонної емісії заслуговує на пильну увагу як багатообіцяючий кандидат для наукових досліджень інтегрального рівня клітинного метаболізму/активності мітохондрій. Багато питань про механізми біофотонічного зв'язку залишаються без відповіді, тому біофотоніка людського організму є важливим і перспективним напрямком внутрішньої медицини та науки в цілому.

78 polymorbid patients with essential hypertension and 85 functionally healthy respondents were obtained by the method of electro-photonic emission analysis. Patients with essential hypertension had significant differences in all physical and mathematical parameters of electro-photonic emission analysis compared to functionally healthy young respondents, which testifies to a different course of metabolic processes in them. The electro-photonic emission analysis method is a modern, hightech,accessible, valid instrumental method for assessing ultra-weak photon emission and indirect research of mitochondrial function, which can provide an opportunity to objectively assess the course of energy processes at the tissue level of metabolism, determine the level of stress, the parameters of the balance of the body's functioning. The electro-photonic emission analysis method can be recommended as promising for use in scientific research and in clinical practice during the objective examination of patients.

In order to develop a personalized approach in patients with COPD - an individual and effective strategy to implement the recommendations, observance of the principles of healthy lifestyle in the first stage, the study of the main risk factors for the disease, on the basis of which developed for each patient an effective personalized strategy for observing the health of the elderly complex with the implementation of patients with curative respiratory gymnastics by Buteyko and hardening of the body - pouring cold water. The authors of the article prove that the observance by the patients with COPD of recommendations for the regulation of lifestyle, nutrition, systematic performance of therapeutic gymnastics by Buteyko and quenching of the body contribute to the achievement of long remission, improvement of quality of life.

ABSTRACT The aim of the study is to increase the effectiveness of the treatment of exacerbation of COPD group B GOLD II with the use of combined therapy of the combined drug PulmoBRIZ containing two components – ambroxol and acetylcysteine and the course of halotherapy. Materials and methods: We observed 60 patients with COPD B, GOLD II. They were divided into two groups: the first – the main (n=30) – patients receiving basic therapy, mucolytic therapy – a combination of Ambroxol and acetylcysteine – 200/30 to 1 tabl. 2 times a day, number 7 days and, from the 3rd day – sessions of halotherapy 1 time per day № 10. The second group, the control group (n=30), followed only basic therapy, did not take mucolytics and halotherapy sessions. Results: Patients receiving therapy with the combination of ambroxol and acetylcysteine and halotherapy sessions experienced a significant increase in FEV1 by 8.3% (p <0.05); the Tiffon index was 7.2% (p<0.05), reactive anxiety levels (RA) and manifestations of autonomic dysfunction decreased, whereas in patients in the control group these indicators did not improve significantly. Conclusions: The proposed complex therapy of COPD patients with the inclusion of the combined drug ambroxol and acetylcysteine and halotherapy sessions contributes to the improvement of the quality of life of patients.
Optimized treatment of elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and hypertension in general practice

Hypertension and type 2 DM are among the leading cardiovascular risk factors. The purpose of the study was to increase the effectiveness of treatment and improve the quality of life of elderly patients with combined pathology of hypertension and type 2 DM by additional inclusion of empagliflozin and L-arginine in the basic therapy. Materials and methods. Fifty elderly patients with comorbid pathology were under our observation for second stage hypertension, coronary heart disease (functional class II) and type 2 DM in the stage of subcompensation. Participants were divided into two groups: the first one, controls (n = 25), received generally accepted basic therapy. In the second group (n = 25), the following drugs were added to the basic therapy: empagliflozin 10 mg/day, L-arginine 300 mg/day. Results. Clinical observation in outpatient conditions lasted for 3 months. Comprehensive therapy in the elderly patients with comorbid pathology of hypertension and type 2 diabetes, with the additional inclusion of empagliflozin and L-arginine to the basic therapy, contributes to a significant positive effect on the clinical course, reduces the risk of progression of this constellation. Conclusions. The application of the proposed comprehensive therapy in outpatient conditions under the control of a family doctor will significantly improve the quality of life of patients and prevent the development of complications.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) remains one of the major health problems nowa days. The aim of the research was to increase the treatment efficiency for COPD group B patients by using ant i biotics, mucolytics, topical nebulizer therapy and halotherapy sessions in combination therapy. Thus, the proposed combined therapy of COPD group B patients is more advanced and rational, it improves the effectiveness f basic medical therapy by optimizing the recovery and rehabilitation process, which has a ositive effect on the improvement of the seven components of QOL, it is well tolerated nd does not cause side effects.
Treatment optimization in management of combined pathology − arterial hypertension and post-COVID syndrome in elderly patients

The aim: Purpose of the study. Our research is aimed at the increase in the treatment effectiveness for combined pathology, namely, arterial hypertension (AH) and post-COVID syndrome in elderly patients at the stage of providing medical care by family medicine general practitioners with the use of statins, antiplatelet agents, as well as endothelial-protective drug – L-arginine and anxiolytic effect – mebicar against the ackground of basic antihypertensive therapy. Materials and methods: The study included treatment and observation of 50 elderly patients with hypertension and post-COVID syndrome. The average age was 68.7±1.89 years. Results: The use of mebicar with moderate tranquilizing (anxiolytic) effect and endothelium-protector – L-arginine in the comprehensive treatment of elderly patients with combined pathology – AH and post-COVID syndrome contributed to the elimination of the main clinical symptoms (headache, poor sleep) in a shorter time; provided significant decrease in the level of systolic blood pressure, reactive anxiety, the decrease in total blood cholesterol, and improvement in blood rheology. Conclusions: Treatment optimization for combined pathology – arterial hypertension and post-COVID syndrome in elderly patients with the use of L-arginine and mebicar in comprehensive treatment, improves the quality of patients’ life, reduces the treatment duration.

У статті наведені сучасні аспекти діагностики і хіміопрофілактики при ГРВІ в практиці лікаря терапевта. Проведена оцінка клінічної ефективності комбінованого використовування інгібіторів протеолізу амінокапронової кислоти (АКК) та індуктора інтерферону – нуклеінату (рибонуклеїнової кислоти) з екстрено-профілактичною метою в період епідемічного підйому захворюваності на сезонний грип та інші ГРВІ. Встановлено, що комбінована схема використання АКК в поєднанні з індуктором інтерферону – нуклеїнатом, спричиняє ефект потенціювання противірусної дії, що призводить до підвищення захищеності організму при постійному контакті з хворими на вірусні інфекції.

Було досліджено вплив березового соку на перебіг метаболічного синдрому. Застосування збродженого березового соку на тлі базисної терапії викликало суттєве покращення суб’єктивного стану хворих та сприяло покращенню деяких показників перекисного окислення ліпідів та реології крові, що обгрунтовує доцільність його подальшого вивчення з перспективою застосування у клініці; Было исследовано влияние березового сока на течение метаболического синдрома. Применение березового сока на фоне базисной терапии вызвало существенное улучшение субъективного и объективного состояния больных, и привело к улучшению некоторых показателей перекисного окисления липидов и реологии крови, что обосновывает целесообразность его дальнейшего изучению с перспективой применения в клинике; It was investigated the influence of birch sap on an implications of metabolic syndrome. Use of the ferment birch sap an addition of basic therapy has caused substantial improvement of subjective and objective condition of patients and promoted improvement of some indicators of peroxidation of lipids and rheology of blood that causes expediency of its further application in clinic.
