Usage of mexidol as a nephroprotector in acute stress reaction

Abstract

The existence of a modern man is constantly accompanied by stress reactions. Adaptation reactions that occur in the body against the background of excessive stress can contribute to the emergence and development of a number of pathological processes. The main component of the stress triad of Selye is adrenal hypertrophy with increased synthesis of glucocorticoids and catecholamines. The changes that occur in the adrenal glands on the background of stress are devoted a considerable amount of work, whereas the effects of stress reactions on the kidneys and morphological changes in them have been studied much less.Існування сучасної людини постійно супроводжується стресовими реакціями. Реакції адаптації, що відбуваються в організмі на тлі надмірного стресу, можуть сприяти появі та розвитку ряду патологічних процесів. Основним компонентом стресової тріади Сельє є гіпертрофія надниркових залоз із посиленим синтезом глюкокортикоїдів та катехоламінів. Змінам, які відбуваються в надниркових залозах на тлі стресу, відводиться значний обсяг роботи, тоді як вплив стресових реакцій на нирки та морфологічні зміни в них вивчався набагато менше.
