Pyogenic fusobacterium necrophorum liver abscess in a young man: case report

Abstract

Introduction: The amount of liver abscess cases are declining worldwide, nevertheless, left untreated this disease most often is fatal. We present a rare case of Fusobacterium necrophorum infected liver abscess in a young man which was complicated with bilateral pneumonia and hydrothorax.
