Врахування основних переваг і недоліків тестів при застосуванні їх у контролювальних діях

Abstract

У статті розглянуто необхідність оптимального вибору методів та інструментів контролю, що має забезпечувати економію часу, який витрачається на перевірку, бути мобільним, надійним і неупередженим. Детально проаналізовано переваги та недоліки застосування тестів як найбільш прийнятного інструмента контролю якості навчальних досягнень здобувачів вищої освіти. The growing demands for the professional competence of modern graduates of higher education institutions have created the need to intensify and improve the educational process. Dynamic processes of development and complication of the essence of professions raise the requirements for the intellectualization of professional activity to a new, higher level. Therefore, there is a need for constant updating, steady growth of the content, and thoughtful improvement of the structure of professionally relevant information required for the assimilation and processing of higher education students. Higher education institutions are faced with the task of ensuring a high-quality level of teaching disciplines aimed at improving the quality of theoretical and practical training of future specialists. The organization of the educational process in each particular higher education institution should be characterized by purposefulness, clear planning depending on the goal, stable management and control of the process. The success in solving the problem of forming the personality of future specialists, among other things, depends on the quality of teaching the professionally relevant educational material required for processing, as well as on prompt and impartial monitoring of compliance with the defined criteria of the volume and quality of mastering this material by higher education students. The optimal choice of control methods and tools saves time spent on testing, which allows the increasing of the amount of educational material offered by the teacher in the classroom. The most acceptable option for controlling and assessing learning achievements is reasonably determined by modern scholars and practitioners as a testing method. A detailed analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of tests as a control tool helps to solve the problem of choosing a method of conducting control actions between traditional oral or written questioning and testing, depending on the purpose of the audit and the amount of material to be controlled.
