Изучение распространенности сахарного диабета по Полтавской, Житомирской областям и по Украине в целом

Abstract

The purpose of this investigation was to study the epidemiological states of diabetes mellitus in Poltava, Zhutomir regions and in the whole Ukraine for the 15 years (Poltava — the so called „clean« region and Zhutomir — the so called „dirty« one). There was revealed the increasing of diabetes mellitus sick-rate in these regions and in Ukraine both in adults and children. There is a tendency of a permanent increasing of the lethality of those suffers from This disease. All this shows the vitality of this problem nowadays and acute necessity to find the new methods of treatment of the patients suffering from the diabetes mellitus.
