Psychological premorbid features of the character of patients with atopic dermatitis

Abstract

The prevalence of atopic dermatitis in developed European countries among children under the age of 14 is 10-20%. According to current data, the incidence of atopic dermatitis is increasing worldwide, including in Ukraine, which is associated with the adverse effects of chemical environmental factors. It is known that atopic dermatitis often occurs in people with unstable psychosomatic status. Various types of diathesis have been studied, which develop as constitutional anomalies. Somatic, neuropsychological relations should be considered as a factor leading to the development of an allergic disease. It may be necessary to pay attention to the peculiarities of the character of patients with allergies. There is evidence that such patients are more emotional, tender, dreamy, indecisive, tense, and persistent.
