Abstract

We have investigated the effect of peptides complex from the renal cortex on the expression of leukocytes receptors (CD3, CD4, CD8, CD22, HLA-Dr) after incubation of donor blood with the peptide complex during 60 minutes at 37eC. We observed modification of T-cell function accompanied by dose-dependent intensification of TCR-CD3 complex expression, formation of clusters of membrane receptors, rearrangement (capping, patch, semicircle arrangement) in response to the action of the kidney complex. The activation concerned primarily T-cell CD4 but not CD8. The expression of CD22-positive cells tended to decrease. Thus, tissue peptide complexes are able to modify function of immune system cells serving as a connection between specialized parenchymatous cells and immunocytes.
