Особливості заростання міських водойм як передумова їх рекреаційної придатності

Abstract

The article highlights the hydrobotanical approach to assessing the recreational suitability of urbanized water bodies in terms of their overgrowth by macrophyte communities (overgrowth degree of the water area, ecological structure of thickets). A relationship between the morphometry of water bodies and the dominant macrophyte ecological group was established. It was determined that both insufficiently overgrown and excessively overgrown reservoirs for various reasons have limited recreational suitability for the population, that must be taken into account when developing measures for hydro-ecological management of urban areas.
