Робота присвячена структурному та семантичному аналізу дієслів германського походження та їхніх похідних, які використовуються у “The English Language Proficiency Test: Krok 1. Medicine”. У дослідженні розглядаються процеси словотворення медичних термінів в напрямку від кореневих дієслів германського походження. Аналізуючи структурні трансформації та дериваційні процеси цих дієслівних форм, дослідження має на меті покращити розуміння етимології та лінгвістичної адаптованості віддієслівних похідних в медичній термінології. The English Language Proficiency Test: Krok 1. Medicine contains a wide range of medical terminology, including words derived from Germanic verb stems. This article explores the intricate word-forming processes ofthese verb stems, focusing on their structural transformations and semantic implications in the context of medical vocabulary. By analyzing the structural transformations and derivational processes of these verb stems, this research aims to improve the understanding of etymology and linguistic adaptability of verb derivatives within medical terminology.
