The authors analyzed the biography of this prominent scientist, surgeon, therapist, anatomist and pathologist, the founder of field surgery and topographic anatomy, one of the pioneers of plastic surgery, a well-known teacher and innovator, reformer of Russian education due to the multifaceted interests and depth of personality of this doctor.uk_UA
