Анотація
In their clinical study, the authors examine the effectiveness of a novel approach to treating chronic apical periodontitis. This method involves irrigating the root apex with a 10% calcium chloride solution, followed by filling the root canal with a paste composed of a phosphate buffer mixed with white clay. The article explores the mechanism behind this treatment, highlighting its role in stimulating bone tissue mineralization, which contributes to the formation of periodontal tissues and helps mitigate destructive processes. The treatment was tested on 18 patients, ranging from 17 to 67 years old, with 90% of cases showing positive clinical and radiological improvements. The proposed method encourages the development of natural osteotropic material at the tooth root apex, facilitating the effective regeneration of damaged bone tissue. Clinical cases, along with radiological evidence of these outcomes, are discussed in detail. The authors emphasize the importance of further long-term studies to assess the stability and durability of the results over time.
