dc.description.abstractThis article deals with the main obstacles in learning ESP. At the present stage, when studying ESP, students should form specific features in the field of knowledge, skills and relationships. Namely, in the field of knowledge: knowledge of local / global relationships and dependencies; global systems; nature and purpose of the system; links between areas of knowledge. In the field of skills: vision of the system and connections; systemic thinking; interpersonal relationships; cooperation; research and study; assessment, organization and presentation of information; trend analysis. In the sphere of relations: flexibility in adapting to changes; desire to learn and teach others; desire to work in a team; feelings of solidarity with other people and their problems; curiosity regarding questions, trends and circumstances; other opinions and points of view; empathy with respect for other people and cultures; faith in one’s own abilities and potential; recognition of lifelong learning; desire to take responsibility.
