Abstract

Maxiliar-facial area belongs to the one the asymmetry of which finds its expression both under physiological and pathological conditions (in therapeutic, surgical and prosthetic dentistry). Malocclusions place one o f dominant positions among face asymmetry disorders and their amount is increased from year to year because of mutational loading in populations, improper feeding, harmful habits among children and the adult.
