Treatment and rehabilitation of children with heart failure require the participation of several specialists, including a dentist. In addition, the dentist, knowing the specifics of the clinical manifestations of somatic diseases in children, can contribute to the early diagnosis of the disease and refer the patient to the appropriate specialist (pediatrician, cardiologist). Therefore, further study of the issues of the mutual influence of pathological processes of the cardiovascular system on the condition of the oral cavity is valuable for dentistry and cardiology.
