Из прибывших в воинские части 37 (10%) однокусников погибли в боях, 50% получили ранения и контузии ; The uniqueness of the 75th anniversary issue of military doctors of the Military Medical Academy C.M. Kirov 1943 is emphasized by the following facts. For the first time in 1939 the academy itself had a large set of listeners - 600 people. This course started to study on September 1, the day of the beginning of the Second World War, and the date of graduation coincided with the date of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War - June 22, but in 1943. This course was taught for 2 years in peacetime and 2 years in the war period. In the first year of the war, studies took place in besieged Leningrad and was accompanied by famine, cold, shelling and air strikes with the death of students of the Academy. The listeners of the course participated in the defense of Leningrad in the trenches of the front lines of the city, fighting the advancing fascists, all the students were awarded by the medal "For the Defense of Leningrad".The evacuation of the academy to Samarkand was held in unprecedented conditions. In Samarkand, classes were held without vocations and holidays for 10 hours a day. Full-fledged study, according to the curriculum and the program, was accompanied by 4-year training with the assignment of a doctor's qualification and the issuance of a full-fledged diploma, which did not occur in any medical college in the country. Graduates were awarded the military rank of the medical service captain, handed the order with the indication of the front of arrival for further service. During the service in military units 37 graduates (10%) perished in combat, 50% were injured and had contussionsДокумент A phase IIa active-comparator-controlled study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of efinopegdutide in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(Elsevier, 2023-06-22) Romero-Gómez, Manuel; Lawitz, Eric; Shankar, R Ravi; Chaudhri, Eirum; LH Lam, Raymond; Skrypnyk, Igor; Bassan, Isaac; Methods: This was a phase IIa, randomized, active-comparator-controlled, parallel-group, open-label study. A magnetic resonance imaging-estimated proton density fat fraction assessment was performed to determine LFC at screening and Week 24. Participants with an LFC of >− 10% at screening were randomized 1:1 to efinopegdutide 10 mg or semaglutide 1 mg, both administered subcutaneously once weekly for 24 weeks. Participants were stratified according to the concurrent diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Both drugs were titrated to the target dose over an 8-week time period. The primary efficacy endpoint was relative reduction from baseline in LFC (%) after 24 weeks of treatment. Results: Among 145 randomized participants (efinopegdutide n = 72, semaglutide n = 73), 33.1% had T2DM. At baseline, mean BMI was 34.3 kg/m2 and mean LFC was 20.3%. The least squares (LS) mean relative reduction from baseline in LFC at Week 24 was significantly (p <0.001) greater with efinopegdutide (72.7% [90% CI 66.8–78.7]) than with semaglutide (42.3% [90% CI 36.5–48.1]). Both treatment groups had an LS mean percent reduction from baseline in body weight at Week 24 (efinopegdutide 8.5% vs. semaglutide 7.1%; p = 0.085). Slightly higher incidences of adverse events and drug-related adverse events were observed in the efinopegdutide group compared with the semaglutide group, primarily related to an imbalance in gastrointestinal adverse events. Analysis of the various teaching methods using effectiveness in the future doctors training(Полтавський державний медичний університет, 2024-03-25) Sorokina, S. I.; Shevchenko, T. I.; Shaposhnyk, O. A.; Kudrya, I. P.; Prykhodko, N. This requires not only the availability of high-tech equipment but also the effective use of traditional and modern interactive learning technologies. The article analyses students' attitudes to the introduction of certain interactive and traditional teaching methods and evaluates the effectiveness of their use in the training of future doctors. Based on the analysis of the student survey results, a fairly high assessment of the introduction of new technologies in the teaching process in the internal medicine clinic, in particular, the case-study method, was revealed. The simulation method was also recognised as optimal for learning the educational material, which has proved itself in recent years due to certain changes in the patient selection process at clinical sites. Antiulcerogenic effect of lL-arginine of mucous membrane of stomach in experimental ulcer(Programe-Abstract, 2000) Tarasenko, L.; Skrypnyk, I.; Neporada, K.; Application of omeprasole in comprehensive curing of peptic ulcer patients(BMJ, 2000) Skrypnyk, I.; Degitjaryova, I.; Aspects of the development of hypothyroid cardiomyopathy associated with chronic systemic inflammation(Mìžnarodnij endokrinologìčnij žurnal, 2023) Horodynska, О. Yu.; Muravlova, О. V.; Shaienko, Z. О.; Dvornyk, І. Cardiovascular manifestations are rated first among the symptoms of hypothyroidism. Since the highest prevalence of both coronary heart disease (CHD) and hypothyroidism is observed in the age group over 50 years old, the problem of combination of these nosologies in older people is increasing. Aim of the study is to investigate the structural and functional state of the left ventricular myocardium in hypothyroidism and CHD associated with chronic systemic inflammation. Materials and methods. To reach the objectives of the study, a randomized controlled clinical trial has been conducted in parallel groups of patients with hypothyroidism, CHD and combination of both. To form the main group, a screening analysis of 556 medical histories of patients with hypothyroidism and CHD during the period of 2006–2015 has been made, which were selected for further study. Characteristics of disorders of the quality of life of young patients depending on the variant of the course of gastroesophageal reflux disease(Полтавський державний медичний університет, 2023) Gorodnytska, I. M.; Skrypnyk, I. M.; Maslova, G. S.; The article represents the results of our research on determining the influence of esophageal symptoms of erosive and non-erosive forms of gastroesophageal reflux disease on indicators of the physical and mental components of quality of life according to the Medical Outcomes Study Questionnaire Short-Form 36. The presence and degree of severity of symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease were analyzed using the Gastroesophageal Reflux scale Disease Questionnaire. We examined 18 patients with an erosive form and 18 patients with a non-erosive form of gastroesophageal reflux disease. It is shown that against the background of the erosive form of gastroesophageal reflux disease, daily manifestations of the symptoms of the disease are more often observed, namely heartburn (RR=6.00 (0.80-44.95); p>0.05), regurgitation and pain in the epigastric region of the abdomen (RR=2.50 (0.56-11.25); p>0.05), which leads to violations of mainly physical components of quality of life. At the same time, the esophageal symptoms of the non-erosive form of gastroesophageal reflux disease change the quality of life of patients in categories that characterize mental health. Clinical and diagnostic aspects of managing patients with valvular heart disease(Полтавський державний медичний університет, 2022) Shaposhnyk, O. A.; Prykhodko, N. P.; Savchenko, L. V.; Shevchenko, T. I.; Sorokina, S. I.; Yakymyshyna, L. I.; Kudria, I. P.; The article presents the results of examination of 47 patients with valvular heart disease. According to the research findings, when investigating the causes of severe mitral regurgitation, especially in young and middle-aged people, one should primarily consider Barlow's disease, myxomatous mitral valve degeneration, as the primary cause (having excluded fibroelastic deficiency). It was found that among all cases of detected mitral valve prolapse (even minor or moderate), which is currently diagnosed quite often with the development of modern technology, stratification of patients requires additional examinations to identify people at high risk of disease progression and complications, as well as to determine the prognosis. Dependence of the Dental Status of Young Individuals with Different Body Weights on their Eating Behavior(Faculty of Medicine Nis, 2022) Skrypnyk, Maksym; Petrushanko, Tatiana; Neporada, Karine; Skrypnyk, Roman; Petrushanko, Vladymyr; Skrypnyk, Igor; Obesity is a global problem of modern society. According to the WHO, in 2016, more than 1.9 billion adults are overweight and about 650 million adults are obese. Numerous studies indicate the role of overweight, obesity and metabolic status on periodontal health, however, the mechanism of their development is not fully understood. The aim of the study was to explore the mechanism of periodontal disease development in patients with diverse body mass index and the mechanism of extra weight and obesity onset in these patients. The study involved 132 Ukrainian males and females, 18 - 22 years old. Body mass index was determined in all patients. Information on life history, illness and family history was collected. The assessment of dental status was conducted by indicating the oral and tongue hygiene indices and periodontal indices. Eating behaviour was assessed using the standardised Dutch eating behaviour questionnaire (DEBG) and the three-factor eating questionnaire (TFEQ R-18). Diet assessment was determined by standardized diet questionnaire. More than 60% of young people with the 1st and 2nd degree obesity had eating disorders, the most prevalent were disturbance of cognitive restraint and emotional eating components of eating behavior. The prevalence of periodontal disease was significantly higher in obese individuals, up to 87% in patients with the 1st and 2nd degree obesity. Eating behavior disturbances play a crucial role in the development of obesity in young adults and onset of gingivitis. The cause of non-plaque-induced gingivitis in patients with the 1st and 2nd degree obesity is a impaired general host response to the pathogenic factors of the oral cavity, caused by excess adipose tissue, which led to the development of chronic systemic mild inflammation. That is why these patients need a specific, integrated periodontal treatment. Detection and assessment of disorders of the depressive spectrum in patients with acute myocardial infarction depending on the method of treatment(Полтавський державний медичний університет, 2022) Kudria, I. P.; Shevchenko, T. I.; Voroshilova, T. A.; Tretiak, N. H.; Kryvoruchko, I. H.; Pushko, O. О.; Shaposhnyk, О. The frequent combination of mental disorders of the depressive spectrum and cardiovascular diseases is one of the most urgent problems of modern medicine. The purpose of the study was to identify and assess, with the help of various psychodiagnostic methods, the degree of severity of depressive disorders in patients with acute myocardial infarction depending on the treatment method as a prerequisite for optimal drug therapy. 73 patients with the aforementioned pathology were studied and were divided into two groups. Group I included 44 patients who underwent urgent coronary angiography with subsequent stenting of the infarct-related coronary artery; Group II – included 29 patients who received only drug therapy. Examination of patients was carried out according to Ukrainian standards, in particular, a survey according to the scale of Beck and Zung. Patients with acute myocardial infarction after urgent coronary angiography with stenting of the infarct-dependent artery were more likely to have mild and moderate depression according to the Beck scale compared to patients who received only conservative medical treatment. The reverse pattern is observed for moderate and severe depression. 68.2% of patients with acute myocardial infarction after interventional intervention and 62.1% on the background of conservative treatment according to the Zung scale showed depression of various degrees of severity, mostly mild. Diagnostic and Treatment Algorithms of Ulcerative Colitis in Ukraine(KARGER, 2009) Skrypnyk, I.; Questions concerning the diagnosis and treatment of ulcerative colitis (UC) in Ukraine are described, in recent years, there has been considerable progress in conservative therapy and new drugs have been developed that provide persistent remission of the inflammatory process after long-term application in many cases. The results of our own investigation on the efficiency of rebamipide in the complex treatment of UC patients are presented. Optimization of treatment with substitution of mesalazine in tablet or granule form, especially with an additional rebamipide prescription and a once-daily administration of budesonide, leads to an increased effectiveness of treatment and improvement of quality of life in UC patients. In the future, development of new approaches in the pharmacotherapy of UC will use medications as a basic therapy with the purpose of achieving high-quality and effective 'convalescence of mucous membrane', including cytoprotectors, bilious acids, endogenous substances, stabilization of membranes, antihypoxantsand correction of microbiocenosis disorders. Doxorubicin-induced arginine/citrulline cycle changes in rat model of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis(Falk Foundation, 2023-05-18) Maslova, G.; Skrypnyk, I.; Lymanets, T.; Skrypnyk, R.; Introduction: Doxorubicin (Dox) belongs to the group of anthracycline antibiotics, which are widely used in oncological diseases treatment. The high risk of toxic effects is the basis for studying of the main mechanisms of organs and systems Dox-induced injury development. The aim - to investigate the peculiarities of Dox-induced arginine/citrulline cycle changes in rats with simulated non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). Methods: The studies were conducted on 30 white non-linear adult rats, weighing 160-220 g. The rats were divided into 3 groups: | (n = 10) - rats (5 males, 5 females), on which NASH was modeled during 63 days, then from the 64th till 66th day they were injected with 1 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride solution intraperitoneally; | (n = 10) - rats (S males, 5 females), on which NASH was modeled during 63 days, continued with Dox injections intraperitoneally 5 mg/kg/day from the 64th till the 66th day; Ill (n = 10) - rats (5 males, 5 females), which received a standard vivarium diet during 63 days, from the 64th to 66th day - 1 ml injections of 0,9% sodium chloride solution intraperitoneally. NASH modeling was hold using a diet containing a 42.8% fats mixture and a 4% fructose aqueous solution. On the 67th day, animals were euthanized under thiopental anesthesia at a dose of 50 mg/kg. A 10% liver homogenate was prepared, in which the concentration of arginine, citrulline, and arginase activity were determined. Erosive and Ulcerative Lesions of Gastroduodenal Zone in Patients with Leukemias: Role of H. pylori(WILEY-BLACKWELL, 2009) Skrypnyk, I.; Maslova, G.; Formation of clinical reasoning for quality improvement in medical education(East European Institute of Psychology, 2016) Skrypnyk, Igor; Gopko, Oleksandr; Maslova, Ganna; Prykhodko, Nataliia; For successful implementation of the National Health Reform strategy problems of higher medical education in Ukraine should be solved. Proposed and tested an algorithm of using principles of Cantor, von Koch sets for exploratory fractals clinical pharmacological data analysis. The algorithm is based on the grouping data, formation of categorical variabilities in the form of subgroups as iteration process as for receiving Cantor, von Koch sets. It boils down to: selection of informative numerical dependent variabilities; transformation these informative numerical dependent variabilities to new categorical variabilities; formation categorical variabilities in the form of subgroups as a result of an iterative process as for Cantor, von Koch sets; statistical analysis of the data; determination of the distribution of variabilities; transformations that may be normalize from non-normal data; ANOVA - analysis of variance parametric data or nonparametric equivalent of ANOVA - Kruskal-Wallis testing; formulation of the conclusion. Our algorithm of using Cantor, von Koch sets principles for Exploratory Fractals Data Analysis of clinical pharmacological data will help maximize insight, uncover underlying structure, extract important variables, develop models and determine optimal factor settings. Gender and social factors as predictors for the development of disorders of the autonomic nervous system in veterans of the anti-terrorist operation(Полтавський державний медичний університет, 2021) Havlovsky, O. D.; Holovanova, I. A.; Over the past seven years, an armed conflict has taken place in the eastern part of Ukraine, leading to significant human losses and involving an increased emotional and physical strain on participants (both military and civilian), post-traumatic stress, which has a devastating effect on the mental and somatic sphere of the individual, changes its spiritual values. Measurement of the autonomic nervous system (excitability, irritability, apathy, lethargy; reduced efficiency; insomnia; hyperesthesia, a feeling of "a lump in the throat") was performed in servicemen who were treated at the Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital for War Veterans during 2019-2020. Predictors were social factors (employment and marital status) and the gender of patients. The influence of predictors on the development of disorders of the autonomic nervous system was determined by the method of the odds ratio. As a result of statistical calculations, risk factors for clinical manifestations of disorders of the autonomic nervous system were identified, that unemployment, on the one hand, increases the risk of apathy and reduces efficiency, but on the other - the unemployed have better sleep; in married people, such manifestation as a feeling of "a lump in a throat" is more often observed. Analyzing the influence of sex, it was found that men are more likely to feel aroused, and women are less likely to feel "a lump in the throat". Helicobacter pylori and metabolic processe in mucous baller ot gastroduodenal zone peptic ulcer patients in dynamic of the treatmet(EHSG, 2002-09-11) Skrypnyk, I.; Degitjaryova, I.;
