Імідж викладача вищої школи в контексті академічної міжкультурної взаємодії

Abstract

Імідж викладачів і здобувачів вищої освіти – це один із ключових елементів формування сприятливого іміджу освітнього закладу на ринку освітніх послуг. Зважаючи на тенденцію звуження перспективності викладацької професії, постає необхідність побудови образу викладача, за допомогою якого в суспільстві сформуються авторитет і престиж особистості педагога. Викладач забезпечує систематичний інформаційний вплив, формує в кожного учасника освітнього процесу ідеї, цінності, зразки поведінки. Тому важливо розв’язати стратегічну освітню проблему – сформувати позитивний імідж сучасного викладача закладу вищої освіти (ЗВО). Стаття присвячена дослідженню іміджу викладача сучасного ЗВО. За допомогою методів анкетування й узагальнення проаналізовано й емпірично досліджено риси професійного іміджу викладача, якими, на думку іноземних здобувачів освіти, має володіти сучасний викладач в умовах вищої школи. Висвітлено результати проведеного дослідження серед іноземних здобувачів вищої освіти щодо іміджу сучасних викладачів. З’ясовано, що здобувачі освіти звертають увагу на те, як викладач спілкується з іншими викладачами і здобувачами освіти, як відповідає на їхні запитання; чи є контакт із викладачем у соціальних мережах, чи використовуються новітні технології в освітньому процесі тощо. Названо компоненти іміджу і складові педагогічної майстерності викладача ЗВО, визначено взаємозумовленість позитивного іміджу педагога і його педагогічної майстерності.

The image of teachers and students of higher education is one of the key elements of forming a favorable image of an educational institution in the market of educational services. Considering the tendency to decrease the perspective of the teaching profession, there is a need to build an image of a teacher, with the help of which the authority and prestige of a teacher's personality will be formed in society. The teacher provides a systematic information influence, forms ideas, values, and patterns of behavior in each participant of the educational process. Therefore, it is important to solve a strategic educational problem - the formation of a positive image of a modern teacher of a higher educational institution. The article is devoted to the study of the image of a teacher of a modern higher educational institution. The authors analyzed and empirically investigated the features of the teacher's professional image, which, according to foreign students of education, should be possessed by a modern teacher in the conditions of a higher school, using the methods of questionnaires and generalization. The results of the conducted research among foreign students of higher education regarding the image of modern teachers are revealed. It was found that students pay attention to how the teacher communicates with other teachers and students, how he answers their questions; whether there is contact with the teacher on social networks, whether the latest technologies are used in the educational process, etc. The components of the image and the components of pedagogical skill of a teacher of a higher educational institution are named, the interdependence of a positive image of a teacher and his pedagogical skill is determined.
