    New teaching methods in higher education institutions are covered. The structure of the lecture course should be based on the methodological principles of developmental learning; seminar-practical classes should be developed in combination with lectures, supplementing their content by learning new material and acquiring certain practical skills. It is a question of activization of process of training, adjustment of its direction from pure acquisition of knowledge on training at which knowledge is the mediator for formation of skills and abilities. It is necessary to use such methods of control that activate the educational and cognitive activities of students, namely: testing, programmed control, final interview, development and defense of graduation theses in the form of abstracts and real projects, etc.

    The article describes the topic of implementation and planning of psychological counseling in the professional activity of a practical psychologist in preschool institutions. The main thing in the success of the activity of a preschool education institution is the high-quality organization of methodological work. The work of a psychologist in a preschool education institution provides for the study of the educational process; study of the dynamics of changes in the development of preschool children; organizing partnerships with parents; creation of a favorable psychological climate in the teaching staff. The content and features of the use of the main legislative, regulatory and departmental documents are disclosed.

    The requirements to the managerial activity of the head of the educational institution in the context of current problems of Ukrainian education are analyzed. Peculiarities of his professional training in the conditions of master’s degree of higher educational institution are considered. The authors analyzes the uniquenesses of the content disciplines in education management, and also emphasizing the interconnectedness and interdependence of them actually administrative and pedagogical component, a nd other important factors for training manager as well. Discusses the nature and the tasks of structuring the learning material of these disciplines, and formulates a system of the principles that make this procedure as effective as possible.
